Terms of Service
Argos Doppler ("the Service") is a free email-security posture scanner operated by Intelligent Automation, LLC ("IA", "we"). By submitting a domain to the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Authorization to scan
You may submit a domain only if you own it or have explicit written authorization from the domain owner to test it. Submitting a domain you do not own or have not been authorized to test is a misuse of the Service and may violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the UK Computer Misuse Act, or equivalent laws in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit each domain.
2. What the Service does
The Service performs passive checks against the domain you submit: public DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, BIMI, DNSSEC, MX), publicly reachable SMTP banners, and public reputation/RBL data. The Service does not authenticate against your infrastructure, does not transmit credentials, and does not perform intrusive scanning.
3. Reports are informational, not advice
Reports generated by the Service are based on publicly observable data at a single point in time. Reports may contain false positives, omit issues introduced after the scan, or reflect transient conditions. Reports are not legal, compliance, or regulatory advice and do not constitute a security audit. Do not rely on Service output as the sole basis for any compliance attestation. Consult a qualified professional for formal assessments.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) submit domains you do not own or have authorization to scan; (b) use the Service to harass, threaten, or defame any party; (c) attempt to circumvent rate limits, suppression lists, or bot-protection measures; (d) resell, sublicense, or expose the Service to third parties without IA's written consent; (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Rate limits and suppression
The Service enforces submission rate limits (per source IP, per submitted domain, and service-wide) and a 30-day re-test suppression window per email address. These limits are subject to change without notice.

7. Service availability
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, even if IA has been advised of the possibility of such damages. IA's total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IA and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms, including any claim that you submitted a domain you were not authorized to scan.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
